General Information:

The high-level competition observed among the riders over 8 days and the inclusion of popular tourist destinations in the TUR route each year have made the organization a cycling festival where sportsmanship meets visual enjoyment.

Since 2008, the live broadcasts of the TUR on national and international channels have offered an invaluable opportunity to showcase Türkiye’s natural beauty and cultural heritage to millions of viewers, marking a significant milestone in the promotion and development of cycling in Türkiye.

Achievements such as Türkiye’s first European Championship title in cycling, the formation of international-level Turkish cycling teams, participation in the Olympic Games in mountain biking and later in road cycling since 2008, the growth of the cycling industry, and the increase in both the number and quality of cycling events open to amateur and professional riders alike are all products of the momentum created by the Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye.
The event, where around 1,000 individuals move from one stage to another daily, stands out as a large-scale outdoor organization with a dynamic structure in terms of both sports and logistics. It serves as a global brand and a model in terms of Türkiye’s experience in organizing international sporting events.

With its deep-rooted history, the organization continues to contribute to the popularization and development of cycling in our country and to the promotion of Türkiye’s tourism through television coverage. The event is followed through land, aerial (plane and helicopter) filming and broadcast live for over 2 hours daily on both national and international channels.
As the world’s only intercontinental cycling tour, it has reached a broad international audience since 2008, being broadcast in over 120 countries through prestigious national and international networks
